Weekly Workouts December 8-14

We finished our last back to back weekend run! I never thought I would see the day. Completing 20 miles was a confidence booster when it comes to finishing the marathon. We only have one more long run which we will do the weekend after Christmas and it will be 18 miles. I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel! Overall a great week of workouts.

10 minutes bike, Full Body Weight Training

10 miles in 2:00:09

December 14
20 miles in 3:53:42

We ran our 20 miles on the C&O Canal in MD. The area is flat and the scenery is beautiful! Definitely my new favorite place to run. Somehow my last mile was the fastest at 10:18. I was just glad I was energized instead of feeling like I was hitting the wall.

Somebody loves his new jacket :)

  1. Great job on your runs! As you know, my last long run was 22 miles and I was afraid I would be behind on training. I am glad to see that not everyone is doing the full 26.2 before race day! -M

    1. Thanks Meranda! I figure I'd rather not push mileage too much prior to the race and risk injury. I think you are in good shape to conquer Goofy :)
