Weekly Workouts April 22-28

This week's workouts have been less than stellar. My legs have been painful all over each time I try to run. They just feel weak and tight all at the same time. I'm hopeful that this is just a small bump in the road. I really need new shoes which I'm hoping will help some of the issues. My next half marathon is this Sunday and I'm running a 5k the night before the race.

I love this quote. It perfectly describes how I've felt this week.

I either had to cut my runs short or add more walking intervals in this week. I figure it's best to let my legs rest and recover before running my next half marathon.

April 22
20 minutes bike, 10 minutes rowing, Abs, 15 minutes elliptical

April 23
65 minutes on treadmill, 4.33 miles. Lots of extra walking on this one.

April 24

April 25
50 minutes treadmill, 4 miles

April 26

April 27
25 minutes bike, Arms, Legs and Abs Strength Training

April 28

  1. I love that quote! Ever since my injury has occurred I have been longing for the days when running will be effortless again! Can't wait to hear about your up coming races!
